About Us

Project Pumps and Environmental Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and based company, with offices in Queensland, NSW, Vietnam and with representations in all Australian states, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. It was formed in 1994 as a response to the demand for wastewater treatment equipment required to meet the needs of the new Environmental Protection Act. The company now produces a wide range of products that are employed for the treatment of wastewater. This includes wash down and process water used in manufacturing and is applicable to virtually any industry that utilises water in any part of its operations.

 

Products include: oil/water/solids separators, water recycling systems; cyclonic separation systems, specialty treatment systems; pumps, macerators, screens and electrical control panels.

 

Products are made with emphasis on quality and durability utilising premium materials such as stainless steel with field and factory engineering services offered to aid in the design, manufacture and installation of the systems. Project E equipment is in use in over 1,500 applications from small workshops to large industrial installations. Export sales constitute a significant part of the business with ongoing sales and projects in South East Asia and other destinations.

 

Clients include but are not limited to; Various local councils including Brisbane, Redlands, Redcliffe, Mackay and Townsville, Ergon, Port of Brisbane, Mackay and Townsville, Powerlink and an assortment of Transport Companies including Toll (most depots) Brisbane Transport and Geoff Richards.

Project E products employ a number of innovative and technologically advanced elements such as the “induced cyclonic air floatation” and “turbulent flow separation” This enables the site operator to install a system that will meet its water use or discharge requirements.

 

The shareholders of the company are Peter Hardman, Peter and Ben Frazier. Peter Hardman was born in 1957 and holds a bachelor of business degree from the Queensland University of Technology with marketing major. He holds the position of Managing Director. He has been involved with some facet of the water industry since 1985. Peter Frazier was born in 1945 and was employed by Mono pumps for 20 years prior to branching out on his own with Hardman. He worked throughout Australia in all aspects of the industry but with a primary focus on pumps for the wastewater and sewerage industry. His son Ben joined the company after completion of his high school certificate and completed the trade of fitter and turner. Ben holds the position of factory manager and his hands on experience both in the factory and in the field are invaluable to the company.

 

Both the Queensland and NSW operations are strategically located, modern tilt slab buildings with air-conditioned sales and administration departments, warehouse and manufacturing facilities. The Queensland office hosts the CAD design department.
